We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste. Here, you can find everything you need, including a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, two restaurants, and a bar for those looking for nightlife.
It is an easy 1.5-hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If you arrive in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight, we recommend staying near the airport and getting a fresh start in the morning. Most roads are paved but not well-marked, with many twists and turns.
We have plenty of parking areas.

Amenities
The place was beautiful and Rod and Taniya were very responsive. We had a slight issue and they addressed it quickly and actually made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend coming here. The mornings are especially beautiful and you can see birds and hear the howler monkeys.
The gated community on the hillside overlooking Lake Arenal was a beautiful and serene setting to spend our time in Costa Rica. The room we stayed in was separate and private. We left the windows and screen door open, and the breezes kept the room cool enough where we never used the air conditioner. Listening to all the birds and surrounding wildlife was all we needed to feel relaxed for sleep. The location is on the outskirts of the closest town, so one word of advice is to get groceries before you get there because once you’re there, you won’t want to run back into town due to the last couple miles of unpaved road.
