Welcome to Casa Nakuru, a stunning lakeside retreat nestled near Lake Arenal. This breathtaking estate, set on over 6,700 m² (about 1.7 acres) of beautifully landscaped land, invites you to experience the perfect escape with its incredible infinity pool and two charming private bungalows. Fully furnished and surrounded by lush nature and rolling hills, Casa Nakuru offers breathtaking views of the lake, volcanoes, and mountains, creating a tranquil haven for your stay.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house or bungalows, and violators will be subject to a $250 penalty.
You have the entire 2-acre property to yourselves.
A vehicle is absolutely recommended should you decide to visit us. However we have had guests who came without one and we can recommend driving services to get you out and about as needed.
We are only 3 miles from the picturesque town of Tronadora, with the prettiest park in Guanacaste, where you can find everything you need including, a grocery store, butcher, bakery, liquor, 2 restaurants, and for those looking for the nightlife, there is also a bar.
An easy 1.5 hour drive from Liberia Airport and 3 hours from San Jose. If arriving in San Jose with less than 3 hours of daylight we recommend that you stay over near the airport and get a fresh start in the morning. Most of the roads are paved however not well marked and there are lots of twists and turns.
We have plenty of parking area.
We love to meet our guests; however, we respect your privacy preferences. Please let us know if you prefer a self-check-in and messaging service rather than an in-person meetup. This is your vacation, and often our guests are tired upon arrival after a long travel day, and all they want to do is get in the house and relax (perhaps with a beverage 🙂 )
